A practical introduction to coaching conversations at work. Covers listening to understand, asking empowering questions, and using the GROW model, EIB and EISIB frameworks to help team members find their own answers and take ownership.
Strengths at Work
A team-based strengths workshop built on individual CAPP Strengths Profile assessments. Participants learn to spot and use their own strengths, understand the team profile, and apply strengths thinking to collaboration, workload and performance conversations.
Stepping Up: From Mate to Manager
For people managing former peers for the first time. Built around the specific, unglamorous problems that come with it, not generic leadership theory:
- Setting a boundary without losing the relationship
- Giving direct, specific feedback to someone who was your equal last month
- Holding people accountable for outcomes, without needing to be liked to feel like it's working
- Communicating clearly under pressure, without over-explaining or over-apologising for the role
- Using the authority the role actually gives you, without becoming the manager nobody wants to work for
A hands-on, scenario-based session. Participants work through the actual conversations they are avoiding, not a slide deck about them, built from the same coaching frameworks (GROW, EIB/EISIB) underpinning Coaching for Performance, applied to the specific moment of becoming someone's manager rather than their friend.
How these are run

- Cohort size typically 8–10 participants
- Interactive, scenario-based and immediately applicable
- Can be delivered as a one-off module or combined into a longer Emerging Leaders Program
